One Month To Live

How would I change my current lifestyle if I just found out I from the doctors that I only had one month to live?!?

That question has been rolling through my thoughts and prayers the past 3 weeks, and it is changing me in some pretty amazing ways. It is helping me prioritize what is MOST important. 1. My relationship with God 2.My relationship with my family and friends. 3.The LOST who need to be rescued.

These 3 priorities have given me perspective that my life can so easily be lived with me in mind and my pleasure. Can you identify? I have come to realize in identifying these, that my daily routines and rituals need to change in order to focus on these 3 PRIORITIES better. It is so easy to slip into the "someday syndrome" and put it off for another day, a less busy time, and the excuses roll on and on...

I can tell you that as I read Kerry and Chris Shook's book, "One Month To Live" with my wife Janet, and the rest of the KFA (www.kfaog.org) family each day, that I am done with saying "someday", because that someday is TODAY. I created a bucket list on my facebook that I would love to have you join me on and comment on mine (www.facebook.com - Jon Brown). This is the beginning of some new ways of LIVING for me as a man of God, husband, father, pastor, neighbor and friend.
